Jessica Lafrance is a writer and director from Ottawa. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Concordia University in Montreal and a Masters in Film Directing from ESCAC in Barcelona.
In 2017 she received the Cinespace Filmmaker Award at the Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival in Toronto for her short film The Big Push.
Her short film Ainoa premiered at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in May 2022.
